Captain Jason Butler has 24 years of law enforcement experience. He currently serves as Captain of Field Services for Scotland County Sheriff’s Office. After graduating from Scotland High School in 1993, Captain Butler attended Appalachian State University graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice in 1997. He attended Robeson Community College for his Basic Law Enforcement Training and now holds the Advance Law Enforcement Certificate. Captain Butler is an Eagle Scout, a past Master of Laurinburg Masonic Lodge #305, and is involved in various community activities and organizations. Captain Butler is from Laurel Hill, N.C. He and his wife, Mary, currently reside in Laurinburg, N.C. with their two children.
